Welcome to the Flexi-schooling Programme

‘Flexi-schooling’ is a term used to describe a flexible learning model in which students are educated partly at school and partly at home. Our KS3 (Year 7,8,9) and IGCSE (Year 10,11) courses provide this amazing flexibility and allow the students to continue their education. The emphasis in these years (year 7 to 11) is on enabling pupils to study a wide variety of subjects. The courses are designed to provide a smooth transition both from Key Stage 3 and onto IGCSE stages. With our partnership, homeschooling Key Stage 3 courses and IGCSE, students will be able to :
•work at their own pace
•study at our school and be involved and in contact with other students
•choose which subjects to study
•learn mindfulness/yoga techniques to help concentration
•choose the timescale in which they complete their course
• explore a variety of approaches to learning
We work with an online platform called Canvas, which is a virtual learning environment, and the heart of the course. The course has been designed by an experienced teacher and developed by experts in online course design.
