First two years of the high school programme involves studying for IGCSE qualifications. Let us tell you more.
After completing Year 9, our pupils enrol into Year 10 and 11 two-year programme: IGCSE. The IGCSE programme is an internationally recognised qualification allowing for admission into the next stage of British education: A levels, IB diploma or equivalent (Czech maturita).
Pupils have three compulsory subjects: English Language, Mathematics and Science (single, double or triple). On top of their compulsory subjects, pupils choose up to another 5-7 subjects to study. We recommend students to complete a minimum of 8 subjects. The IGCSE programme at the end of the two years is completed with final exams and all of our former students have been successful at these.

To support our pupils in choosing their IGCSE subjects, we run Cambridge CEM assessments in Year 9 designed to help pupils decide their subjects based on their strengths and weaknesses. Pupils then choose their courses according to their interests, individual abilities and needs.
Our alumni pupils or other external pupils have the option to enroll into individual IGCSE courses and focus on their education in English in order to gain international certification in a chosen subject. This is part of our Flexi School - to find out more, please contact Miss Monika.
