We believe in flower power!
by Eleni Kefala
Warm, sunny days are finally here and there’s no better way to celebrate spring than planting dozens of colourful flowers around the school! The weather wasn’t cooperating with us at first, but then on Friday the 22nd of March, we finally got a higher temperature and lots of sun, which could only mean one thing: We were ready to PLANT! Milepost after milepost, the kids gathered their flowers, soil and tools and ran outside. They cooperated and helped each other alongside their teachers and Ms Green, who had the initial idea and helped us so much with the organisation! We loved seeing how excited the children were about their flowers and the process of planting; now we can enjoy the colourful sight of our school! Thank you all for your support in buying seeds and soil; we hope that the kids enjoyed it to the fullest and we’re looking forward to repeating it next spring!
