ISO students raising money to protect animals in danger
Despite June being a very busy month already, our students initiated and organized a whole school event called 'Wildlife Day'. On the day, students were selling home-made sweets, muffins, biscuits and other tasty snacks and managed to collect an incredible 4,750 CZK. This money was raised in aid of the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) that the students have chosen as an important cause. WWF have responded to this donation with thanks and appreciation and have issued a certificate.
We would like to thank those who participated in the event, especially to our pupils and their parents who prepared all the sweets at home. Special thanks goes to Elly and Kristelle who came up with the idea to organize this fund raising activity and to Miss Janita whose IPC lesoon inspired her pupils to help endangered animals.
We are looking forward to all upcoming events planned for next academic year.
