A beautiful trip!

The classes, from year 6 to year 9, participated in a trip to the eco centre Veronika, placed in a small village Hostetin. There, they stayed overnight and had enough time to discover more about the village itself. For example; how the village supports animals or how, in winter, they use small pieces of wood to warm the houses. They also discovered more about their friends, classmates and the teachers too.
On the first day after the arrival, the first activity was a tour around the centre Veronika and the village. For the kids, the most exciting part of the tour was jumping in the wood chips and the older students enjoyed learning about global warming. Later they had some free time and played little games. At the end of the first day, the teacher- made activity was creating a fire, though lighting up the fire was a struggle, and getting together. Some children sang and came up with different creepy stories whilst some just listened and enjoyed the fire itself. At around 9 to 10 pm they were already settled in their rooms ready to sleep.
The next morning all the children were ready for new activities. After breakfast, they learned about the types of apples and created their own handmade apple juice, this was probably the favorite activity of day two. Before everyone went to catch the train, they created an advertisement about apple juice, which showed their creativity and shared their feelings about the trip. Happily, all of the feelings were positive and everyone enjoyed every part of the trip.
