Some ‘shocking’ science tricks in year 4!

Miss Eleni kindly asked me to join her in teaching some amazing tricks to the year 4 class. The children practiced their wizardry through the dark art of….static electricity! After learning all about atoms, protons, neutrons and electrons we used just a balloon and science to move a drink can without touching it, and the children also got some fashionable new hairstyles through the power of science! We then tested our new skills and designed some amazing electrical circuits to light up bulbs. The students had great fun while learning and gaining valuable new skills at the same time
