We have some more new teachers to introduce!
Name: Eva Pluskalová
Where are you from? Prostějov
Would you rather have the tail of a lizard or the mane of a lion? Why? I would rather have the mane of a lion, because if I had the tail of a lizard instead, I wouldn't be able to wear my favourite clothes with it :-) Anyway....I would have a reason to buy a lot of new things! If I had the mane of a lion, my "hair" would always be perfect, even without using an expensive shampoo and other cosmetics ;-)
What movie have you watched more than any other movie?
I love watching movies! I like Some like it hot, The Proposal, Don't say a word and many more....
If you had to name your mobile phone, what name would you give it and why?
My mobile phone has got a name, of course, the same as all the members of my family :-) The name is Sony.
Name: Daniel
Where are you from? I was born in Dublin, Ireland, but have also lived in England on a couple of different occasions, as well as more recently in Vietnam.
Would you rather have the tail of a lizard or the mane of a lion? Why? I would rather have the tail of a lizard, specifically a chameleon, so I could hide it easier and still live a normal human life.
What movie have you watched more than any other movie?
I would say that it would probably be Inside out. It seems to be on every plane I have been on in the past few years. I would definitely recommend it if you haven’t seen it!
If you had to name your mobile phone, what name would you give it and why?
I would name my phone Jack Wilshere because it has gone very slow over the years.
Name: Monika Hrušková
Where are you from? I am from the Czech Republic (I was born in Hradec Králové, but studied at university in Olomouc).
Would you rather have the tail of a lizard or the mane of a lion? Why? The mane of a lion, because I would like to have a perfect haircut everyday. :-)
What movie have you watched more than any other movie? Tři oříšky pro Popelku. This czech version of Cinderella is perfect. I appreciate the humour because it's not only for children, but also for adults.
If you had to name your mobile phone, what name would you give it and why? Pear, because it's the meaning of my last name and it could be a good competitor to an Apple.

Jolly Phonics is an engaging way to teach children pre -reading and pre -writing skills using phonics. Phonics is the teaching of the sounds that letters make, rather than the names of letters that are taught in the alphabet, because it is the sounds that are useful for reading and writing, not the names. These sounds are taught in a systematic way, alongside all of the skills needed for being a fluent reader and writer in future. Jolly Phonics also teaches all of this in a fun and engaging way, through characters, stories, actions, songs and games! To read more about Jolly Phonics, clickhere.
ORT is a reading scheme which has been developed to help children learn to read from the age of 4. This scheme is used by a vast majority of preschools and schools in the UK and around the world.ORT includes popular characters and illustrations such as Biff, Chip and Kipper, Floppy, Wordless Stories and easy regular word books to capture children’s imagination and interest and help them develop their pre reading skills. It is an excellent way to practise the skills learned through the Jolly Phonics Programme..
