A shiny new start to the year!
author: Jitka Young
The start of the new academic year has been extra special for our new pupils in Year 1. A group of 9 children have joined the ‘big school’ and become the new ‘babies’ of the Primary School. Their excitement and willingness to take on grown up responsibilities has been visible from the very first morning they arrived at school. The group have welcomed two new boys, Tom and Sebik, who seem to enjoy themselves amongst their new friends and teachers. We have also welcomed our new teaching assistant, Martin, who has been a great help supporting the whole class. So much is ahead of the children in Year 1! We all wish them the best of luck on their journey through our school.
