Science is the last core subject in the Cambridge Secondary Programme 1. Students develop not only their knowledge in Biology, Chemistry and Physics but also their skills through beloved experiments in our Science laboratory. Science is certainly one of the most popular subjects in our school.
The main focus in Science is on Scientific enquiry. Students develop their skills in considering ideas, evaluating evidence, planning investigative work and experiments and recording and analysing data. The objectives of Scientific enquiry underpin Biology, Chemistry and Physics and are focused on developing confidence and interest in scientific knowledge. Learning Science also includes environmental awareness and some history of science.
