The stage was set for an event fit for a Queen!

This year’s annual dinner was a blazing success, celebrating the children’s achievements throughout the year. The event, hosted on Friday 14th June, saw the children and staff joining together to celebrate the successes of the School. Awards were given out to commend exemplary behaviour; thus the room was filled with golden cups shining on the lavishly set tables. It was an event fit for a Queen! Speaking of which, this band’s music made an appearance from Miss Ladislava’s ukulele band, who showcased their talents performing scorching songs, including Let it be and We will rock you. Everyone was unified in clapping and singing along (including most of the teachers).
The energy continued, as the individual awards were given out, including: to parent Jitka Green for her commitment to the school as well as to Laura Sanctis in Year 10 for her overall excellence and Leila Bacik in Year 5 for her excellent personal development. The evening finished with the announcement of this year’s winning house- The Matilda’s took the gold again- showing that they are a force to be reckoned with.
