iSchool is a private British school operating in Olomouc

Our visit to the ISB is a great success enjoyed by all.

by Jitka Young

On 20th November thirty children and four staff members visited the International School of Brno to take part in Art Day – a special day full of fun, friendship and creativity. We were joined by children from the International School of Ostrava and, of course, our hosts from the ISB. The children were divided into ten groups of mixed ages and given an art project to work on, or a musical performance to prepare and share with others later. It was an opportunity not only to meet children from the other two Moravian international schools but also to spend a couple of hours working towards a common end; sharing ideas and communicating in English. At the end of the day all the groups presented the results of their efforts and it must be said that the art work and musical performances were impressive. It was extremely rewarding to see all the children being so proud of their work and happy to show off their creations. To continue the cooperation between the three international schools, in January we will travel to Ostrava to participate in a swimming event. Later in the spring the ISO will welcome pupils from Brno and Ostrava and prepare our own event which will bring us all together again.

Why should your child attend iSchool?

They will gain perfect knowledge of English.

Your child will become a global citizen with wide understanding of local and international topics.

We put a strong emphasis on the development on subject specific skills rather than on acquisition of knowledge.

Emphasis on skills development (not just memorising).

Individual approach; school’s ability to motivate for improvement.

Your child will be excited to come to school.

School philosophy

You are not buying success, you are paying for the school to monitor your child’s progress to their goals and motivate them to fulfil their potential.

We are not a selective school: we believe that everybody can be successful.
