Fun in the sun!
by Daniel Burke
The children of ISO were joined by the International School of Brno for a fantastic day of games, races and fun! Throughout the day the children took part in football tournaments and side games to win points for their houses.
Gaelic football was a new addition to the ISO sports day and it was completely dominated by the Matildas. The sport originated and is mostly played in Ireland; however, our students have been learning the game throughout the year.
The side games included a wide variety of races, such as the egg and spoon, sack, relay, and sprint. It was a great way for our students to showcase their teamwork in their houses.
Everybody seemed to have a great time and the day was topped off with a victory for ISO against the International school of Brno. A great success for our young footballers!
A big thank you to our parent volunteers, without whom the day would not have been possible!
